Pete Stacey holds the Mountaineering Instructors Award, the International Mountain Leader Award, and the Mountain Leader Winter Award.
He is listed on the BMC Legal Expert Witness list - Pete can provide expert witness investigations and reports for court cases involving ropes courses, rock climbing on both climbing walls and on natural crags, as well as for Hillwalking and mountaineering incidents..

Pete has been a Vice- Chair for Mountain Training United Kingdom, the co-ordinating body for all mountain training awards throughout the UK and was Chair of MTUK for three years until completing his term in 2012.
Pete completed his MBA in 2004, and his most recent training was completing the Lyon Equipment/ROSPA PPE 4 day inspection course where he learnt a lot about breaking gear and damaged kit!
Pete is a Mountain Training provider and course director for Mountain Training for the following schemes: the Hill and Moorland Leader Award, the Lowland Leader Award. Additionally he is a provider of the Mountain Training Hill Skills and Mountain Skills Courses.
