snow time continues
Wednesday 27th January, 2010
Well the snow has caused some problems for a lot of people but it has also given a lot of fun to others.
I was out the other weekend ski touring over the Long Mynd enjoying the conditions, as the photo clearly shows it has been full cover down to the valleys on some days. A lot has now gone and there is a bit of a melt on at present. I'm just back from 2 days navigation work on the Kinder Scout area where the snow is also receding and the bogs are slowly thawing away to return to the usual full depth mud and slime when you break through the frozen crust - yuck!
