Snow on the Isle of Man!
Sunday 10th March, 2013
Over here on the Isle of Man working at the Venture centre for a few days. It's been either cold and rain or cold and snowy, with North Barrule covered in snow today and Snaefell also has a good covering.
Tomorrow could be interesting - it's the second day of a WGL Training course and with more snow forecast and sub-zero temperatures, the navigation could be interesting.
I'm also planning on calling in to the HotRocks climbing wall in Douglas to talk to them about NICAS.
The photo is of a sea cliff abseil on the Island - the line is the obvious light coloured streak in the centre top of the crag - after the first 30 feet, it's overhanging for the rest of the abseil - new route potential looks good!
