BMC Wall Managers Seminar
Wednesday 17th October, 2012
A day inside and the sun shine's - typical!
I spent yesterday in Sheffield at the BMC Climbing Wall Manager's Seminar, which was well attended. Items such as route-setting, the BMC Accident database, gear inspection and maintenance, as well as setting up youth squad/academies, NICAS and para climbing were all covered with a lot of questions asked.
As always at these sort of events, the break time was as important as the actual seminar sessions! Catching up with people and also planning out next week when I am off to Northern Ireland and Eire as well to visit a number of walls and raise the profile of NICAS over there. It's going to be a busy week on the road!
I'm really pleased to have been asked to be a Advisor and Moderator for NICAS; it's a great scheme and deserves to be the success it is.
